Sapporo Snow Festival, Hokkaido, Japan

The Snow Festival was freezing....but the big ice carvings were very impressive, the amount of detail alone is impressive but each one was created in less than a day...this one was my favourite a peacock that glowed different colours as the lights in the buiding signs behind it changed...an unexpected effect im pretty sure...

I dont think I would go back again but definitely worth the visit and its always nice to get off the mountain for a dose of junk food and retail therapy....
