one day you wake up and its winter....
the last days of summer
September long weekend spelt the last (in a seemingly endless string) of long weekends for the summer...canadians sure like their 3day weekends....
so this spells the end to camping holidays for the year...
last weekend we took a trip to Tumbler Ridge, B.C. for the annual celebration of Roxanne and Randy's wedding anniversary....
what i thought was just going to be another camping trip was in reality about 20 campers and RV's pulled up in a field in the middle of nowhere, creating our own private campground...
One of the main reasons for the location is a trip up to Kinuseo Falls...a pretty impressive waterfall about an 1hr and a half up river...
But most memorable of the weekend is that i was treated to my first showing of the Northern Lights....they were a bright green, taking up and dancing across about half the night sky for a good hour or so...it was the perfect time to see them as there were no city lights around...
hopefully this wont be the last time i see them...Fall is supposed to be the best time to get a good show....so i will be on the look out...
