SNOW PARK KICK ARSE!
just when i was losing faith in the quality of the season...
rock on snow park...it is quite literally a big patch of snow in the middle of a farm...but it is WICKED!....
soo much to do...so many challenges...rode some pipe (which by the way i suck at but who cares it was fun as hell)...took on some huge arse rails, including an ENORMOUS battleship box...a huge flat box, a gnarly c-box and assorted flat downs..which are kindo becoming my specialty.....also flew over the biggest jump i have ever attempted and stomped it!...aswell as *finally* completing grabs over the smaller kickers....and the best part....it was FREE and there was hardly anyone there!...
why is it that i have amazing days like this at the end of the season...its hard to walk away from the snow now...

Ohau i love to ride!!
OHAU I LOVE TO.... what a fricken great catch line....how could you not love this place with a view down to Lake Ohau like this....
made a day trip to the beautiful, cute little Ohau skifields just a few hours north of queenstown on the way up to twizel/mt cook....
such an adorable pretty much private ski field....there were 22 ppl on the lifts yesterday including the 7 from our crew...we had a stunning bluebird day to ski our little hearts out to...proper spring conditions prevailed with an icy morning turning into amazing spring slush....a few hikes thrown in made for a great laidback days skiing away from the commercialism of the bigger feilds....not to mention being able to buy lunch for under $5!!

4mths have just flown by
long time...not much to say...
i have spent the last four months wasting copious amounts of time with other like minded travellers hanging out in the big Q.T....
skiing, skiing, skiing and a lot of goofing about...
for a few of the boys birthdays we drove up to Cromwell for some paintballing antics....this is one of the most ghetto setups ive seen by far...it is literally just a semi-fenced off area of forest in which you just run around shooting the hell out of everyone....
other than this it has pretty much been an endless stream of goodbyes as people have started to filter away to carry on their travels or go back to their real lives....
its been great meeting so many great people to hang out with for the season...not to mention making contacts all over the world so i have excuses to travel everywhere and visit them....the only problem i guess is making sure the buggers are home so i can crash on their sofa!!
